I currently have a basic MR package and I am really looking at getting a herold but I don't want to keep my aurora. Since there is no package for the herald does the AMD never settle bundle include the full game with beta access? Would this option work? (of course I would need to find a code/ buy a new card)

Confirmed, here are the details: Beginning funds amount to 1,000 UEC. Two-month insurance coverage. Digital Star Citizen manual. Squadron 42 beta access.

Are you sure your aurora has alpha access? If so, you won’t lose it—you won’t be able to reclaim it.

Certainly, you can always obtain a 5$ module pass. This way, you avoid maintaining a vessel you don't need.

Indeed, that implies purchasing a pass for each module. It also raises the question of why your Alpha package would contain a ship you don't need.

My alpha package timeline seems to be this. I started with a 300i, then moved up to 325a. After the racing reveal, I upgraded to M-50 and later to 350R. There are plenty of reasons to add more money to your hangar.

In short, if you melt your alpha version, you’ll have to pay another $15 (five for AC 5 in FPS 5 For Planetside), as noted by Ben Lesnick on Star Cast recently. It’s hard to think about skipping the PU Alpha/Beta in the future, especially since it would add extra costs later. I’d avoid melting that package if possible to prevent future expenses.

I overlooked charging for beta, since it includes all current packages if I understand correctly. Therefore, you won’t need to spend over $15 for the three passes.

It's nice to see your back. You might consider a cross chassis upgrade to something you prefer and purchase the herald as a separate vessel, unless you require a new graphics card.

I was just finishing up the alpha access, a bit late by a week. I’m really interested in getting a herald package and would be glad to spend around $95-100 to help out the game (including a herald).
