Hello, this weekend I assembled the PC and everything functioned smoothly until last night. The machine suddenly stopped, and now pressing the power button causes lights to flicker or the fan to activate, but it shuts down automatically. To prevent it from turning on completely, I need to switch the power supply off and then back on. In the video, the CPU light on the motherboard is visible. I’ve inspected every PSU cable and confirmed they’re secure, and the RAM appears fine. Motherboard model: MAG B650 tomohawk; CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X; RAM: 2x 16GB DDR5 5600MHz; GPU: 3070 TiPS; PSU: Thermaltake 750W 799DC7BC-9047-4904-AFAE-53ECC2D80210.

Thermaltake offers a variety of power supplies, some excellent and others that pose serious risks. What model are you using?

It might be a dead power supply unit, as the system could keep running even if the CPU fails.

The device is safely rated for moderate risk, positioned in B tier. If you attempt to power it by flipping the supply switch just to observe activity, it may indicate a short circuit or a completely failed PSU. Consider disconnecting the PSU from the PC entirely and testing it with a jumper connection to see if it powers up and remains operational.

It seems the power supply unit failed instantly, not because of any issue with the CPU or motherboard.

I wouldn't make that assumption unless I tested it, but it's still a possibility.
