I just finished my first build.
Ryzen 5 2600x
GeForce RTX2060
Asrock b450 itx
Corsair vengeance 3000 16gb of ddr4 ram.
They suggested installing CAM and Ryzen master. After running cam, I saw my CPU idle between 4.1 and 4.2. I don’t want to overclock anything just stick to stock settings. I’m new to PC gaming and don’t want to make mistakes. Is this okay?

Your observation likely points to an AMD XFR2 that auto overclocks when necessary; it won't cause any damage since it modifies the overclock according to temperature and voltage. Ryzen Master works well, but if you're referring to NZXT CAM software, I'd recommend using HWmonitor instead, as it's superior.

I would only consider NZXT tools if you're employing a NZXT AIO for cooling.
