Check your system resources and close unnecessary programs. Restart your PC to clear temporary issues. If the problem persists, consider updating drivers or running a memory diagnostic tool.

No idea, then. This a bug on some Creative labs cards, where audioDG increased in RAM usage every single time a "WAV" file was played in windows, and didn't release the RAM and kept adding to it, which was fixed by selecting "disable soundblaster enhancements" in sound advanced properties. Unfortunately I do not know about realtek, so I'm sorry if this doesn't help you.
