I have a PC equipped with a Core i9 9900K, an RTX 2060 and 32 GB of RAM running 64-bit Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2 OS build 19045.2364. It connects via the HDMI port on my GPU to a Samsung Q70 series TV. I've been using them together since late 2019 without any problems. Recently, when I turned it on this morning, there was no audio from the PC through the TV. The video and picture are fine. Both the TV's audio and my PC's sound were working before. I attempted a reboot and used Windows troubleshooter to reinstall audio drivers, but the issue persists. I tested Bluetooth headphones—audio worked—but when I unplugged them and tried removing them, no improvement. After disconnecting the HDMI cable from both devices and reconnecting, it still didn't work. Then I tried plugging the HDMI cable into the motherboard's port, which previously functioned, but now neither audio nor video came through. I'm uncertain why the motherboard port wouldn't work, but my goal is to get the GPU port functional. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Have you checked another cable? You might also need to turn on igpu in the BIOS for your motherboard's output.

Did you eliminate the TV as the source of the problem? Is there another device you can link through HDMI to it?

You recently switched the cable to another HDMI port on the TV, and now the audio is functioning properly. I don’t understand the reason, but it seems to be working now. Appreciate your help!
