I have Realtek drivers installed on the newest version. This issue began a few weeks ago. My audio frequently cuts out, especially a few seconds into games. Headphones only work properly, but speakers are the main problem. It stops and I must raise the volume on my keyboard to restore it, then it restarts after a short time. I'm playing games in full screen, not windowed mode. I don't know how to resolve this or what details you need to assist me. All drivers are current and Windows is too. This also occurs with other programs when I use the Realtek audio setting in my sound preferences.

What is the model and make of your motherboard? What BIOS version applies to it right now? I would uninstall the driver and then reinstall the newest audio driver from the manufacturer's support site, using an elevated command—Right click installer > Run as Administrator. What is the model of your audio equipment?
