I purchased a set of affordable Logitech Z333 speakers that work well for my needs, though they sometimes emit a static-like noise even when turned off. It’s not quiet—it tends to be quite loud, producing a high-frequency buzz. The issue persists whether the PC is powered on or asleep, and there’s a dedicated power button on the speakers. Both devices are connected via the same extension board.

My current approach is using a smart plug to cut power to the speakers when I’m not using them, controlling it through my phone. I’m curious if others have faced similar problems. Also, I’m wondering if this kind of noise is common and related to power management. It takes roughly 10 seconds for the sound to fade after turning off the speakers, which suggests a power-related cause.

Thanks for the clarification. It seems like there isn't much else to choose from.

It's mainly due to vibrations from the electronics during operation, which can become noticeable. This issue tends to occur more frequently with inexpensive or tiny components. The Z333 series falls into the budget range and often experiences this problem.
