Hey, I recently tried shadowplay for my game recordings, but now with a second monitor the quality isn’t great. I’m looking for good recorders for PC gaming—things like Minecraft, Watch Dogs 2, FIFA 17, GTA 5, Code, and similar titles. Also, any tips on render settings or recording options would help.

If file sizes aren't a concern, DXtory with MagicYUV (YUV 4:2:0) works well. You'll end up with very large files that maintain perfect quality—easy to trim down as needed. You'll need storage devices with write speeds of at least 150MB/s, possibly higher. I'm confident the codec can handle 4K at 60fps if your system can support it. It will cost around 300GB for a 30-minute session. Alternatively, OBS lets you adjust bitrate until you achieve the desired result.

OBS works fine, though I noticed a minor drop in FPS. Bandicam is another concern—I've used the free version for a while, but the watermarks are bothersome. After searching, I found a good YouTube tutorial to help. For those who prefer Shadowplay, it runs smoothly with little or no FPS issues. I recommend OBS if you're not into Shadowplay. DXtory has some complaints about frequent pop-ups, so I don’t have much experience with it.
