I’m preparing a build using the Ryzen 3700X and initially considered the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite. The main concern is whether audio can be delivered via Type-C connectors instead of Bluetooth, since many devices now use Bluetooth and Type-C ports. This motherboard lacks Bluetooth, but does it support audio over Type-C? Generally, modern motherboards are adapting to these changes, offering flexible connectivity options. Investing in a pricier model might be worthwhile if you prioritize Type-C audio support, but it depends on your budget and needs. Also, check if your cases are compatible with Type-C audio interfaces. Look for specifications that mention support for USB-C audio or integrated audio solutions.

It varies based on whether the headphones handle the processing or the phone. Usually it's a problem, and I'd wish none of the laptop or PC makers would back unsupported options.

The headphones I use seem to function without any processing, being Sennheiser Momentum 3 wireless. They work with Type C and don’t cause problems on my Macbook Pro. I’m curious if this matters when purchasing a new motherboard, especially since I might want to use Type C. It’s not a major concern—I can also connect via the standard headphone jack, which my headphones support as well. Others might not have the same options.
