Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming B550 Plus features a 5600x CPU, 12 GB GPU, 3060 RAM, Corsair 16GB RAM, and Windows 10 with build 19045.2604. OS version is 2.803. I built this system about five days ago. After powering it down, I encountered a blue screen displaying a collecting error message. Once it restarted, everything returned to normal, so I shut it off for the night. When I opened the PC and played games, my headphone audio reverted to its default quality—similar to when the system was first installed, like HD Audio rather than Realtek. Attempting to uninstall and reinstall Realtek drivers didn’t improve the situation; the audio remains unchanged. I also observed a missing playback device in the Realtek console, which used to have three devices but now only two remain. Before the blue screen, I could adjust the equalizer settings in the Realtek console, but those changes had no effect on my headphone output. I tried plugging and unplugging the headphone jack, yet it didn’t resolve the issue.

I can also share recordings of my audio performance during a game, showing the difference before and after the blue screen appears if required.
