The main point is that my PC audio behaves strangely during calls—everything except the voice call gets muted, even though I’m using a wireless headset and an aux cord. I’ve checked Discord support, tried their client, adjusted sound settings, and changed exclusivity mode, but nothing helps. The issue seems to stem from how apps control audio input and output. My Beats Solo3 has an inbuilt headset, and I’ve set it as both input and output. I disabled exclusive mode in the sound settings, which lets apps take over headphones and headset, but reducing all sounds during calls still doesn’t work. It’s becoming really annoying because I can’t hear myself think while playing games, even though others can. Audio drivers are up to date.

I experienced a similar problem with my Sony WH-CH700n. Whenever I tried to use the built-in microphone, it would automatically switch to the call output, which had poor sound quality, while the computer audio remained clear. The solution was to connect the webcam microphone instead. It's possible your headphones are facing the same issue.

Consider using your webcam's built-in microphone as the input and your headphones' mic as the output.
