I experience an unusual issue resulting in a lack of audio within specific games. I have investigated numerous solutions without success. Games such as Apex Legends, CS:GO, and Team Fortress 2 function correctly; however, I consistently receive no audio in the following titles: Quake Champions, Hot Lava, VR Chat, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Noita, and Sven Coop. I suspect this problem may extend to other applications due to my PC's primary use for gaming.

My system specifications are as follows:

Processor - Intel Core i5-5600k @ 3.50 GHz QuadCore
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8 GBx2
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB
Motherboard - MSI B150 M3 ATX
Headset - Sennheiser PC 350 SE

Because it is an MSI motherboard, I utilized the Realtek audio drivers. I have attempted various basic troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling drivers, checking the mixer, reviewing in-game settings, and implementing solutions from this Microsoft support document: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help...d-problems. I am uncertain how to proceed further.

I desire a resolution to this problem as it prevents me from fully enjoying games with my friends.

Check the HD Audio settings and try different inputs (front panel, rear panel, etc.). See if that resolves the issue. Please share a screenshot of your Device Manager audio devices. Does this occur with both headphones and speakers?

My device manager displays the following issues, and switching to my speakers does not resolve them.
