Over the last month my computer has had some odd issues. I keep seeing audio glitches while playing games and sometimes they crash. I reduced the overclock from 4.6GHz to 4.5GHz but the problems persist. Most games show 100% CPU usage while the GPU only uses about 30%. I recently installed a fresh Windows version, yet nothing has changed. Should I consider upgrading? My machine has an i5 6600k, an Asus Z170-a, Windows 10, G.Skill 16GB RAM.

Can you clarify which games are running? Which system is handling the most CPU load? Also, confirm if the integrated sound card is built into the motherboard or comes from an expansion card.

Primarily modern warfare titles, GTA 5, Rainbow Six, and many high-end games. Usually demands maximum CPU usage with no unusual background activity. Built-in sound card.
