I changed to a new SSD and a fresh Windows 11 install and have been facing this bothersome problem for no clear solution.
Windows 11 ver 24H2
Intel i9-9900k
ASUS ROG Maximus XI HERO WIFI
32GB DDR4
RTX 3090 FE
The new storage is a Crucial P3 Plus 4tb NVME SSD.
I attempted removing drivers, reinstalling, deleting files manually, but it didn’t help. I connected headphones via an AMP/DAC combo and even plugged them directly into the PC, yet the issue persisted. Swapped audio cables from the AMP/DAC to the PC, changed drivers, nothing worked. Installed every possible audio device driver I could find, but still nothing. I’ve tried a lot and it’s been a constant source of frustration for days now.

Are you noticing audio static coming from the motherboard's rear audio jack, the case's FPA, or possibly both? This issue started after you installed a new SSD.

I've tested the motherboard audio, front panel audio, and my USB-based AMP/DAC, but they're all affected. It seems unrelated to the new SSD, though it's possible the Windows reinstall caused a problem. I'm not entirely sure.

Consider reinstalling Windows. Should audio drivers be installed separately or does Windows handle it itself? If available, should it still be installed even if it seems unnecessary? Refer to the provided guide for details.

Tried the guide but it didn't work. I'm unsure of the cause since it restarts normally but occasionally fails. It might relate to the task scheduler.
