For the past twelve months, my custom-assembled computer has operated reliably. Nonetheless, while gaming titles such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Destiny 2, and Battle for Middle-Earth occasionally experience audio disruptions. The sound may abruptly cease or repeat continuously. Occasionally, the entire game will become unresponsive, with the audio looping persistently in the background. Typically, a delay between ten seconds and one minute is required before sound returns to normal functionality. This problem does not manifest with other games, such as League of Legends and Overwatch. I investigated potential overheating issues, but this did not resolve the issue since temperatures remain consistently stable.

Could you advise me on what might be triggering this?

My system specifications are:
GTX 1070 Ti
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
DDR4 3000 MHz
Windows 10 on M.2 SSD
Two SATA SSDs
Corsair RM750x
MSI B450M

Following considerable troubleshooting using the task manager, I determined that the problem stemmed from my SATA solid-state drive. There’s a malfunction with this device, as every game installed on it exhibits the identical problem. Conversely, the M.2 solid-state drive performs without any issues.
