Hi!
I’m facing another problem that I think might be fixed on this forum. After a vacation of around 1.5 weeks, I unplugged all cables connected to my PC to prevent any interference while I was away. When I tried to start the computer again, I couldn’t get game sounds working—I only heard Windows notifications, YouTube, Netflix, Discord, etc., but not in games. I’ve tried reinstalling drivers and even Steam/Battle.net games, but nothing worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Happy New Year!
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide detailed system information. Please format your build details as follows:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Add the age of the PSU along with its make and model, the BIOS version for your motherboard, and details about your audio equipment.
I suspect your OS might need a reinstall if a driver update didn’t resolve the issue. Regarding reinstall, did you install the newest audio driver using an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator?

I wasn't sure what the problem was, so I went through all the fixes I'd previously attempted. First, I deleted the audio driver and reinstalled it. Then I removed every game file and reinstalled them one by one. It seems this worked for me. Still, I still don't hear music in some loading menus, but now it plays correctly in all games while playing.
