It's possible to connect an audio jack and use headphones during PC gaming. There are ongoing efforts by modders to improve this, though progress may vary. Check recent updates from gaming communities or modding forums for potential developments.

This query is intriguing, but I can only operate with the DS4 controller on a PC.

There have been efforts to implement it, though I’m unsure if any succeeded. The project I was familiar with was discontinued and transferred ownership; I haven’t engaged with it since. It seems to be DS4tool—feel free to explore the forums if you’d like, as figuring out current contributors might take time through lengthy discussions. Right now, I use DS4Windows because of its simplicity and regular updates.
