I have my issue, I need to extract more performance from my RAM because I noticed Windows Manager displayed during gaming at a frequency even though the package claims it should reach at least 3000MHz. I opened my BIOS after watching some YouTube videos and enabled the XMP Profile 1, plus activated Game Boost in my BIOS settings. Right after that, my CPU fans started spinning rapidly with high RPMs, which is really annoying since it shouldn’t run at MAX speed even when idle or booting. Is there a way to adjust the fan speeds while keeping automatic boosting? It seems like no one else has faced this problem. I’m using an MSI B450 A-PRO with a Ryzen 5 2600, and my RAM sticks are G.SKILL Aegis (expected 3000MHz), but they didn’t show up as meeting the requirement. The system works well overall, but the fans are behaving strangely.

Modify fan settings in BIOS. Your X470 Gaming Plus Max switches to a more powerful fan curve once memory speed goes above 2667 MT/s.

You're wondering how to adjust the curve settings on your motherboard when you don't fully understand the process. It sounds like the curve is currently in PVM or OC mode, and you're trying to change it somehow.

The required button is located at the bottom left labeled "Hardware Monitor." Use the mouse to click and drag the circles within the curve.

It seems I resolved the problem and can maintain higher RAM speeds. The fan speed fluctuations you notice are typical and usually harmless, though they might indicate the case is trying to cool itself more aggressively.
