When I begin my PC, the fans get very loud, then they settle okay when idle. During gameplay, especially intense titles like Trackmania and Overwatch at 1440p, the fans run constantly at high volume, even though those games shouldn’t strain the system much. The only temperature that increases noticeably is the CPU, and even adjusting fans to match GPU and motherboard load doesn’t stop it.

I don’t have access to the BIOS version, so I can’t confirm if it’s the issue. A solution would be helpful if you could check.
Blocking UEFI access might serve as a security measure. A different method to reach your UEFI settings is: navigate to "Change Advanced Start-up options." (You usually do this by pressing the WIN key and typing "bios." – I'm not sure it works for everyone.) Once you're under "Advanced Startup," select "restart now." The system will restart, then display several choices. Choose "Troubleshoot," then "Advanced options," and finally click "UEFI Firmware settings." This should bring you back into the UEFI (or BIOS) interface. This is the most straightforward way to normally access UEFI settings. Based on my experience, even at full speed the P12 makes some noise, though it's likely audible. The P14 probably behaves similarly. It might be your CPU cooler or GPU causing the issue.
Which components are getting hot? GPU, CPU cooler, or case fans? The phrase "to my GPU and motherboard only" refers to a specific software used for monitoring GPU temperature.
Follow the instructions from your original post and enter the DELete key during startup.
The case fans and CPU fans are definitely important too. The software from Fan Xpert in Asus's collection lets you tweak fan curves and pick heat sensors for temperature readings. You can select options like 'CPU', 'Motherboard' or 'GPU temperature'. What I meant to convey is that even without considering the CPU, the problem still exists.
It displays the splash screen with the instruction to press DEL for BIOS access, yet repeatedly pressing DEL has no effect.
