OS: 64 bit Windows 11 CPU: i7-12700kf Motherboard: Z690 UD AX RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3600 MHz GPU: RTX 3070 Storage: 1 WD Blue SN570 1TB, 1 Samsung 980 Pro w/Heatsink 1TB BIOS Version: American Megatrends International F5 PSU: 650W This problem appears roughly 90% of the time when I simply attempt to boot my PC. During the standard startup, fans spin up and run fairly loudly as I progress through login steps. Once it functions correctly, fans gradually slow down shortly after login, and everything operates smoothly. Most often though, the fans remain steady and after a minute or more my PC becomes unresponsive, making interaction nearly impossible. I’ve noticed that booting via BIOS and letting it idle for a couple minutes resolves the issue, but I want to fix this before it causes further complications. The issue began a few months ago following the RAM upgrade from 16 GB to 32 GB and the addition of the Samsung SSD.
