Attempting to utilize the MS phone application on a computer.
Attempting to use the Microsoft phone app to make calls from my PC is failing due to no BT connection. After inserting a universal BT dongle, the PC recognizes it, but the app still reports no BT on my PC. I already own many BT dongles for keyboards and mice. Is there another BT device I need to add so the PC can recognize it? I might have forgotten that this PC came with a BT plug-in card, thanks for any assistance.
Make sure to revise your update with complete details about the system's hardware specifications and operating system version. Clarify the exact number of additional BT devices connected, confirm the correct USB port configuration, specify the exact Microsoft phone application used, and provide information on the device you typically use for calls, texts, etc., along with your service provider.
Many keyboards and mice include non-BT dongles. Check if a Bluetooth dongle is visible in your system tray (beside the clock). Also, look for a BT adapter in the Device Manager. Try connecting your phone to the PC manually.
