Hello, I'm facing difficulties getting the GeForce RTX 5050 8G SHADOW 2X OC to function properly on my home-built PC. The ASRock B550 Pro4 motherboard should support it, but it isn't working. Previously, I used integrated graphics with my AMD Ryzen 5 5600G without any issues.

So far, I've tried the following steps:
- Installed the GPU in both PCIe slots
- Connected the power cable from the PSU and confirmed it's receiving power (fans are running)
- Updated BIOS and chipset drivers
- Disabled video drivers using DDU in safe mode
- Adjusted BIOS settings to turn off CSM, enable "Above 4G Decoding" and "Resizable BAR"
- Rechecked the card placement about a hundred times
- Installed NVIDIA drivers via the driver app V11.0.5.420, but kept receiving the error "No NVIDIA GPU found"
- Tested HDMI connection to the RTX 5050, which didn't work
- Switched the power cable from VGA1 to VGA2 on the PSU

Details about my system:
Motherboard: ASRock B550 Pro4 (2 x PCIe x16 slots – Gen4x16 and Gen3 x4)
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro, updated to 10.0.26200.7171
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics (3901 MHz, 6 cores, 12 logical processors)
RAM: 16GB (2x 8GB DDR4-3600 W/XMP, Crucial Ballistix)
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 550 G2 (550W)
Storage: 3 HDDs, 1 SSD

Any advice, suggestions, or questions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! What is the age of the PSU and what devices has it powered since purchase? Did you update the BIOS on your motherboard and cleared the CMOS after confirming the BIOS update to version P3.90?

Thanks for the update!
It's around five years old and works with the specifications mentioned. I haven't ever operated a graphics board in it before.

Test on another PC. It might be a faulty GPU. That can happen.
