It's the Winbond 25Q128FVSQ chip. The datasheet describes it as a 3V 128Mb flash memory. The ASUS motherboard documentation notes it's included in many ASUS boards and even some DELL models. Be sure to back up the original BIOS before proceeding...

Absolutely. You can always save a backup and still convert the CAP file to a BIN file online if needed.
