I recently upgraded both my PC and my fiancé’s system to Windows 11. Our motherboards, CPUs, and RAM match perfectly, but we still face issues on their machines. The problem doesn’t specify what’s wrong, only that the hardware specs are correct. The biggest difference between our PCs is the graphics cards: mine has a 2070 while theirs has a 1070. It seems they’re trying to boot straight into the BIOS.
I would also verify that your UEFI/BIOS settings are configured properly for Windows 11. I performed an upgrade to Windows 11 on an ASUS board with an 8th gen Intel a few years ago, and it booted back to BIOS after the change. Microsoft requires Windows 11 to use UEFI, and the mainboard was set to Legacy mode, which didn’t work. Legacy and UEFI don’t play well together, so a complete rebuild was necessary. Also, ensure TPM or a compatible software is enabled; otherwise you may face problems even without BitLocker. You're likely set up with secure boot and TPM activated on the motherboard. Installing Windows 11 from a USB drive should work as expected, but double-check compatibility and update drivers if needed.
