You're right to feel this way. It seems like my performance might not match expectations, especially when compared to older devices.

You seem overly concerned with repairing windows, to the point of damaging them.

To resolve the issue, you must break the system. Without breaking it, repairs aren't possible. For Linux, simply install Arch and consider disabling systemd-journald. I’ll share one example here. I’m handling a large project on GitHub (not my own), just needing to build and use it. Deleting the entire project root folder on Windows takes about a minute or two, which can strain CPU threads. Window Defender constantly interrupts the process, demanding more resources. Without it, deletion happens quickly but I don’t recall exact timing. On Linux, the operation completes in mere seconds with minimal CPU load. To make things worse, I tried moving the repo to Trash in Nautilus, which slowed Windows further. Linux handles these tasks differently and performs them much faster. Clearly, Linux is far more efficient. Unfortunately, FOSS still has its challenges, and many rely on Windows. Please let me be left alone.

, which is a feature that you can disable in less than 5 seconds using the Startup tab of Task Manager or the settings page in Edge if you are saying this without a drop of irony, you have never used a 2007 netbook. Or a 2012 netbook, for that matter.
