I attempted to set up Windows 7 as a secondary operating system on this ASUS FX503VD laptop. Despite using both Windows installation methods and USB drives, I encountered issues. With USB, the screen freezes even after inserting drivers for USB 3.0. I’ve managed to install Windows 8 without problems and have adjusted settings like CSMOS, Fast Boot, and Secure Boot. I know this model doesn’t officially support Windows 7 or 8, but I’ve found unofficial drivers that seem to work.

Win7 lacks built-in compatibility for USB3, which could be a problem. Since I’m used to dual-booting both systems, I’d prefer using a virtual machine instead of managing the dual setup. Still, keep an eye on other opinions.

Thanks for the note, but I still placed the drivers inside the installer and the issue remained unchanged.
