It’s clear we can’t assume the person’s stance, but it seems OSX is probably important for their specific tasks like content creation. They might be setting up a new rig with the goal of using OSX on it. It’s unlikely they already own a Mac unless they’re simply seeking another desktop that supports Mac. Of course, showing off these choices can also be a benefit. I use Windows 10, OSX 10.9, and Ubuntu mainly for fun.
