I don’t have the ability to make SATA Mac drives from TransMac using just USB sticks. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do.

Much more intricate than simply adding damage to a flash drive, involving numerous drivers and kexts to manage. Please note this isn't suitable for discussion here due to Community Guidelines. /r/hackintosh is your ally

Is it a friend, a relative, or just a nearby library computer? It's easy to find.

It seems like a contradiction, and there’s likely a clip where Linus or Luke makes that comment about software freedom. People often joke about Hackintosh and Apple’s efforts to limit it, but the idea of being able to use software freely after purchase is a common theme in discussions.

The opposing view suggests that downloading the OSX installer from a friend's Mac means you haven't paid for your license, potentially leading to piracy, which goes against community norms.

I've managed to hack into two computers before, and I don't regret Apple's terms of service. If you need assistance, look at the tonymacx86 forums—they're really helpful and supported my projects.

They’re already using a Mac, so there’s no need for a hackintosh. It’s just about confirming they can proceed with the installation.
