So I'm installing Apex but my power cuts out briefly. My PC starts up fine and everything seems normal until I try to download it again. Then it shows the error message about the package not installing properly and asks me to try again. It says "Error: 327684:1". Need some help with this.

Try installing DirectX manually. Here's a link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...aspx?id=35
Just make sure you untick any of the bloatware that Microsoft wants to install.

it mentioned that there was already a direct x version available and installation wasn't necessary.

Try this next:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...px?id=8109
After launching, select a folder to extract to—create a new one on your desktop and point it there.
Once extraction is done, you'll find various files but only need DXSETUP.exe.
Double-click it, follow the installation steps, and upon completion, restart your computer.

Didn't have to do that. Managed to get it working on my own, but thanks for the help!

For future reference, what resolved the issue was nice.

Well, at least it functions now. Perhaps your computer just required a restart.
