Hey everyone, I've been facing some internet issues lately. When I play an online game, everything seems fine—speed and ping look normal—but I still experience lag and stutters. It wasn't until a page crashed today that I found out it was due to heavy traffic or a potential DoS attack. Now I'm worried about my IP address being affected or something else happening. I have no idea what's going on, but I really need advice if anyone knows how to fix this. Thanks!

The page failed due to an attack or high traffic on the target site. When attempting to send a response, incorrect data was transmitted, causing your browser to malfunction and crash.

Modify the autoexec.bat and config.sys files, and everything will work.

These spikes are typical during startup, especially with steam or similar systems.

This statement means I accept without reference to a benchmark.

The suggestion seems adequate, but I wonder if additional guidance would be necessary for his success.

It wouldn't appear on your device unless there was a DOS attack (unless your internet connection was severely disrupted). This would be detected by your router or ISP. If it originates from your PC, it likely indicates malware. The network diagram lacks the necessary data; you should interpret the numbers on the graph. For example, speeds around 1kbps might suggest slow performance. Websites claiming a DOS attack usually point to the site having problems, not you—similar to those warning messages about viruses.

Have you switched off your router recently? It’s important to do this regularly.

He mentioned a DOS attack, referring to old autoexec.bat and Config.sys files used to manage memory for games on 90s systems. These files helped direct the computer to use specific hardware parts, preventing it from using too much of the limited 640kb available. It was a bit challenging but enjoyable to customize each game file for different needs.
