You're experiencing a crash after launching the game, likely due to a corrupted or incompatible installation. Try uninstalling the game, restarting your computer, and reinstalling it from a clean ISO or official source. If issues persist, check for system updates or run a virus scan.

Did something happen because you're attempting to play a game from 2009 on Windows 10?

It seems like this might be a poorly made program intended for an older operating system.

It functioned properly at the start of the day, though it didn't meet the 2009 Windows 7 version requirements.

In 2009 Windows 7 was the version, but most people didn’t notice much until Battlefield 3 came out. It seems to be working okay? A driver update might have caused issues. It could be simple, but it’s worth checking.

Consider testing in a compatibility mode. If unavailable, run the game via VMware Player with Windows 7 and enable hardware pass-through or similar settings. Likely a specific launcher or fixed executable will resolve the issue. The Simpsons Hit Run example works well with Lucas' launcher due to its instability without it.

Hmm, seems like you're unsure about testing something. You should check online resources. A lot of classic games have issues due to minor problems.
