also think about lastpass. I was pretty unsure about it at first, but my friend who helped me with PCs encouraged me to try. I did, and I haven't looked back since.

I prefer two words, sometimes with underscores or numbers at the end. I rarely start passwords with a special character, just when security matters.

My Facebook account was compromised twice—first from Turkey, then from Brighton, which is far away from where I live. Additionally, some of my friends received inappropriate links. I used a word from a dictionary as my password and have stopped using it now.

Yeah bad idea there are bots that throw dictionarys at passwords, so any obscure word in a dictionary will be used.
