I checked where Windows 10 installed itself and tried launching the setup file, but it didn’t work properly. The boot process failed due to a missing boot.wim error. Now only a "sources" folder remains with setup.exe and a few other files. What went wrong?
I handled the same problem with the boot.wim error, and I still had access to the files.
It doesn't remove anything. The boot.wim file was saved just once when the time passed and it reached the 29th day.
The directory containing all files is 10MB, but it previously held 6GB. It appears the entire content was removed.
I attempted to install and there was no deletion occurring. Make sure you're checking the correct directory.
Well, lulz. I'm amused how many people have problems upgrading. According to my flatmates my install went through flawlessly and now it's just sitting there waiting for me to get home from work and enter my PIN/Password. Huzzah!
