I'm working on assembling a PC for my brother as a basic web browsing setup, with room for a graphics card later. So far everything looks okay except I can't get the display to appear on his monitor. The motherboard is showing a VGA light, which the manual says indicates it's not detecting a graphics card. I'm not intending to install a card just yet, but I need to resolve this issue. Should I be able to proceed without one, or do I really need a graphics card to function properly? I'll share a link to the PC parts list below for reference.

I'm really confused here. Could you clarify what you mean?
