attempting to increase CPU speed with BCLK settings
using bclk to boost the i3 2120, i increased it from 3.3ghz to 3.46ghz. I ran a stress test for ten minutes with stable temperatures and everything functioning properly. However, when I started playing an online game, after thirty seconds everything froze. It happened even though lag was minimal and frame rates remained steady before. After some time, I stopped playing and couldn’t move at all. I tried connecting to different ports and restarted the game, but nothing worked. Could this overclocking have impacted the i/o port?
