I have an Intel Core i9 -9900K processor and a Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB 4000MHz DDR4 SDRAM DIMM with 288 pins (CMW16GX4M2K4000C19). I attempted to increase the RAM speed beyond 3600MHz, but it only reports success. Windows won’t boot without entering BIOS to adjust memory settings, and I’m unsure where in the BIOS to make these changes. The motherboard model is ASUS Z390-E GAMING.

Does your 4000 MHz kit not support 4000 MHz? The XMP profile isn't functioning properly?

This is quite unexpected...
Are you certain? There should clearly be an XMP configuration...
If it isn't present, what values did you input for the timing? It's designed for 4000 MHz 19-23-23-45.

I'll handle it once I've slept for seven hours, working through this.

ok so i managed to get my two ramsticks up to 3600MHz but userbenchmark says my ram isnt performing so well as it should, is it because im using three monitors or is it the i only picked Auto->3600MHz as the only change in bios and not loading XMP profile that i couldnt find. i think there is more to it sadly. and no my games get minimized when i try to play a game

The bios should include straightforward and advanced choices plus an xmp setting 🤔
On the EZ mode, the xmp is clearly visible and easy to activate 😊

I adjusted the RAM speed to 3600MHz. Following that, games such as Planetside 2 began reducing performance.
