I’d need experience with low-end processors available on eBay for around five pounds, and still have a functional system if things go wrong. The real value here is unclear—especially since the cooling benefits from wider contact areas aren’t being fully utilized. If it actually improves heat dissipation, wouldn’t copper be a better choice for the lids?
