Hello. I attempted to fit an Intel 670p into my brother's 2700x RTX 3070 setup using a TUF B450 board. I've tried re-seating the GPU, taking out the M.2 slot, restarting, but it still won't power on.

when you say it doesn't turn on, what exactly do you mean? no power or signs of life at all? lights and fans, but no post? or some variation of those two?

Audience members are energized, RGB illumination activates on the graphics card, yet nothing appears on the screen. I switched to another GPU and still couldn’t get anything displayed.

other ideas include repositioning the RAM module (also test with a single stick at a time) and checking all PSU connectors. also, ensure the PC was powered off and the PSU was turned off during installation.

The memory issue was resolved! It seemed to help testing one stick at a time, and then using both. Still confused, but appreciated the help!

Occasionally a simple loose linkage occurs due to handling the circuit board. Thankfully it resolved.
