Prepare to be upset, but I attempted to boost a CPU that wouldn’t handle higher voltage. The computer powers down immediately after I tried it, resetting itself right away—something that happened before I even realized the issue. Do you know what might help fix this? I’m really new to this stuff.

Reset your BIOS by taking out the round battery from your motherboard, let it sit for five minutes, then reinsert it. This should resolve the issue.
