I built a 300$ system recently using an 860k budget and an 860K but have no idea how to overclock it, could you assist?

Didn't choose an ideal setup for OC. Still, begin by turning off turbo mode in BIOS. Next, adjust the CPU multiplier via a single click. Save your changes, boot into Windows, and execute Intel Burn Test using the standard configuration. If temperatures remain acceptable and the test succeeds, continue.

When encountering a failure with IBT, it indicates the vcore (CPU voltage) should be raised. Increase it gradually in the smallest steps BIOS permits. This process requires repeated testing and fine-tuning. In my experience, I wouldn't raise the vcore on this board; instead, I'd accept the performance limits of the multiplier alone.

But the multiplier is hidden and I can't do anything about it.
