Hi! I understand you're facing some issues setting up your Proxmox server. You've already tried a couple of configurations and still aren't getting a proper boot. It sounds like there might be a problem with the power supply unit or possibly incorrect settings. Have you checked the PSU connections and voltages? Also, ensure the RAM is properly seated and try resetting the CMOS by moving the jumper. If you can share more details about your setup, I might be able to give more targeted advice.

Server boards might require a stronger power supply unit than what you have. Consider using a different PSU and see if the issue persists; it might point to the board itself.

It seems like this power supply unit is quite outdated, yet it still functions. Have you encountered it in use previously?

The system should work as expected because it only includes the motherboard and two CPUs. It hasn't received a GPU yet, and I'm unsure about the condition since it was purchased from eBay refurbished.

No, I haven't tested them on another board yet.

No other board is available for testing; only RAM checks were performed and everything functioned. After some investigation, it seems the issue might have come from using a cable from a different PSU model. Switching to a matching cable resolved the problem. Now I’m just installing the CPU coolers and hoping everything works smoothly. Thanks everyone!
