You can always consult your manual... Each motherboard has its own set of instructions, but the guidance you need will be available for your specific board. I’ll even provide a direct link here for your convenience. If you prefer not to read, simply go to boot options and place your HDD first. And regarding the fan, adjust the fan speeds accordingly...
