ASUS Z790-H shows flashing LED lights but the PC fails to start, no boot detected.
You're facing an issue where your PC powers down normally but fails to boot when you restart it from the power button. The system shuts off completely, and even after turning the PSU off, the lights come back on with intermittent blinking. The BIOS flashback LED keeps flashing green. This suggests a power or boot-related problem. Consider checking the power supply connections, testing the PSU, and ensuring all cables are securely connected.
Hello, Updating the BIOS on an ASUS motherboard can be quite challenging. You’ll need to ensure all the necessary steps are followed carefully. The information I gathered from the Asus motherboard manual should assist you. Refer to Chapter 3.4 on page 3.3 of the owner’s guide for further guidance. You can also access the English version of the manual here: https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards/rog...sk_manual/
I tried to reinstall the BIOS by using a USB flash drive with the newest update. I also experimented with several previous BIOS versions. Once the fast green LED continues blinking, it keeps going instead of stopping, then returns to its normal slow pattern. After some time, the system attempts another BIOS restore. The process seems to repeat without end.
