Asus Z690-P Wifi D4 doesn't show any NVME drives connected.
I recently installed a build Redux PC using an Asus Z690-P Wifi D4 motherboard. I transferred a 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 SSD and a 1TB Crucial P2 SSD into the two available M.2 slots on the board. However, when booting to BIOS, no drives appear in the boot menu or under NVME configuration—under NVME it displays "no NVME devices detected," even though there should be three drives. The two hard drives are working properly. I've adjusted settings like CSM, VMD, TPM, Intel Rapid Storage Technology, and updated the BIOS, but none of these changes made it show up in BIOS or during Windows installation. Any advice would be appreciated. Specs: Asus Z690-P Wifi D4 2x16GB DDR4 3200 850W PSU RTX 4080 i9 12900k 3x 1TB M.2 SSDs 1x 2TB HDD 1x 3TB HDD 360mm AIO. Edited January 20, 2023 by 2tmb added specs.
Sorry to hear that. I'm glad you found the assistance useful. I'll continue searching for a more straightforward option.
