I own an ASUS X75VD laptop where the screw post is broken, so I need a replacement. The problem is that it's difficult to find a matching one. I've noticed some that appear similar but aren't identical. Can I use a model from an ASUS X75VC for my device? I've seen many with the same design on AliExpress, though they won't ship to the United States. My specifications are included.

Will the ASUS X755JA Series 17.3" Bottom Case Base fit or is the ASUS X755JA BOTTOM CASE 13NB07L1AP0211 suitable?

Keep in mind, I'm still learning what the 'screw post' means!

After discussing with PC parts on eBay, it seems the item from their ASUS X755JA bottom case 13NB07L1AP0211 matches mine. I plan to try it if it doesn’t work, as they provide free returns with their shipping label.

I own an ASUS F75VD-N551 and require a back lid and bottom, but the bottom case is hard to locate since it matches the bottom cover from an ASUS X755JA. Do anyone know if they can be swapped? Thank you.

Ebay is your go-to resource here. You might remove the bottom of the laptop and use the part number on the internal sticker as a reference when searching for Ebay listings. I also checked the specifications of the laptop, which is an older model. For parts related to other laptop bottoms, I recommend against it since they often have ports in various locations and different venting areas.

Instead of trying to replace a used laptop to find a replacement part, it might be better to consider retiring the device rather than increasing its cost unnecessarily.

Moved the thread from the Components section to the Laptop Tech Support section.

It's not worthwhile to repair a laptop from 2013. It would be cheaper to purchase a new or older model.
