Hey there, I'm struggling a bit and need some guidance. My PC was fine before the upgrade—new 360mm AIO and case installed. Now it won't boot at all, the motherboard lights are blinking in various colors, and I'm not sure what's going on. I started by rebuilding the system with the new components. When I tried to boot with the original setup, the RAM LED stayed orange, but with just one RAM stick it turned orange for two seconds. The CPU LED flashed red for about two minutes. VGA stayed white, no POST, and when I connected the HDMI cable it worked briefly before the LEDs faded. The monitor turned on but remained black. Boot LED was green initially, then stopped. At first I thought RAM was the issue, so I swapped in a completely new stick with identical specs, but the same problems appeared. I also tried another CPU and the issue persisted. What else did I do without success? I disassembled everything, checked for damage, tested every plug and screw, swapped CPU and RAM, used a different monitor and outlet, cleared CMOS, flashed BIOS updates. Still no resolution. I'm really confused and hoping someone can help. I'll reach out to ASUS support. Here are my details:

- Model: ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X @ 4.7 GHz
- RAM: Team Group DELTA RGB, DDR5 6000mhz, 2x16GB
- GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4080 Aero OC 16G
- PSU: BE quiet! Pure Power 12 M 850W ATX 3.0
- SSDs: WD Black SN850X NVMe 1TB (M.2 2280), KINGSTON 2TB Fury Renegade M.2 2280 NVMe
- Case: Magniumgear NEO Qube 360mm
- Monitor: Unknown, but lights changed color
- Power: Original setup with all components intact

I'm really at a loss and would appreciate your advice. Thanks!

All AIO connections appear secure. Socket pins are in good condition and none are bent.

Consider the possibility that the motherboard might be damaged from the cooler swap or it could be dead. You've tried everything I suggested, and now the only remaining part hasn't been replaced. Another approach is to turn off the power supply, disconnect from the wall, keep the power button pressed on the case for a few seconds, then wait five minutes to discharge the capacitors. After that, reconnect the power cord and switch it back on to see if the system boots again.

Thanks for the update. I agree, I’ll check the situation tomorrow when the new motherboard is delivered. It’s still unclear why the MB was damaged or failed during the rebuild. I’m contacting ASUS and hope they can forward it to me soon.

Reach out immediately about the system not booting. If the motherboard is still within a return period, send it back and request a replacement. Alternatively, follow the RMA process with ASUS as you've been in contact. Occasionally these issues arise when we don't anticipate them.
