I’ve looked into this and checked some hardware unbox videos. This motherboard looks solid and performs well, which is why I’m leaning toward it. What others have shared includes their experiences—some praise its performance while others mention certain drawbacks. I’m specifically searching for feedback on the X570 model and any concerns people have had. I’m also avoiding MSI due to some negative reports, so I want to make sure this option fits my needs.
The MSI x570 boards aren't as strong as the B450 models. The build is decent but I wouldn't go unless I really need PCI-E 4.0. There are too few USB ports at the back and not enough features overall—it feels like a B450 with a newer chipset. Not worth the extra $50. The Asrock x570M Pro 4 costs around $160 after rebate and offers more functionality than the Asus version.
For the X570 Prime P by Asus, a small consideration: the chipset cooler's airflow may get blocked by bigger, heavier graphics cards because of its placement. If you intend to add a powerful GPU, you may need a different board.
If you're looking for something under nine USBs—seven fast ones, five standard, two high-speed—then I believe it's okay. Most users don't rely on more than five USB cables, right? Do you know any X370 or X470 models that offer similar power delivery or better value for the same budget? I haven't found anything more competitive for a Ryzen 3000 Ready setup. The ones I've seen are the ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Pro Gaming and the X370 Taichi, both priced similarly but with significantly more VRMs. The Prime X570-P is close in terms of VRM quality, and with these two you'll likely need to upgrade your BIOS. Neither model supports BIOS Flashback, so you'd probably need a Ryzen 2000 part.
I was thinking about using the prime number because of its stable performance during use, and I've heard positive feedback when it's compatible with the 3900X or 3950X and includes PCI 4.0 support. That’s all the important factors for me—especially faster RAM speeds.

Many boards lacking the MAX label feature a BIOS flashback, letting you refresh BIOS without a CPU in the socket.
