Do I own any PCIe 4 devices? Are there graphics cards capable of utilizing that high bandwidth? Unless you intend for 100Gbit networking or PCIe 4.0 SSDs in your system, you probably don’t need to worry about PCIe 4. The processor will operate at its maximum speed.

I saw some discussions about B450 supporting 3000 series CPUs after modifications. However, Z390/Intel doesn't need such changes. It really depends on whether everything fits perfectly. If a patch is needed to make a part work, its performance might be questioned?

Eight stages are sufficient to run two 8-core boosted processors. Stay calm.

You're confirming that a 3rd gen Ryzen 5 with Gen 2 support should work smoothly on X470 motherboards without any issues. Regarding memory and M.2 drives, the available bandwidth from the X470 chipset can accommodate modern RAM modules and M.2 storage, so you should be able to use them effectively.

However, I remain concerned about the capacitors from AsRock and other manufacturers. Asus appears to offer better assurance in this area. You're probably aware that the lifespan of capacitors is closely linked to the overall lifespan of the motherboard.

Is there a security problem with your motherboard? I don’t think so, but I understand OS might have vulnerabilities.

It's quite strange they discussed the board just two days prior.
