I bought this laptop from Amazon to use for mobile internet and writing stuff. It came with everything ready to go on Windows Home. I installed Steam, put Skyrim AE in there, and since the computer is so old, I thought Iris Xe graphics would handle 60 FPS easily without any trouble. Instead, it only gets about 35 FPS unless you look down or open menus. After updating Intel drivers to the newest ones, performance hasn't changed much, still around 30 FPS. Is this a dud laptop? Or did my expectations get too high? Maybe I can turn something off to fix it.

Just wanted to grab a friend. Saw one on sale there, so I stopped by.
