You asked if you managed to get it working after changing the port. On your MSI board, certain USB sticks don't function properly with BIOS flashback. Even when formatted correctly, they fail. However, another USB works fine—sometimes it's strange, like with a basic $5 flash drive that didn't work and a slightly better Patriot model.

I've tested various USB ports and USBs just to be sure. This board seems to be a placeholder. I'm hoping the replacement will work better. If that doesn't help, I'll consider trying a B550 next. It's frustrating dealing with endless issues with AMD products all the time.

The new board at least applied the BIOS updates. But overall, the outcome stayed the same. No posts or screenshots yet. Meanwhile, the RGB light on the Stealth Cooler stopped working. Now I have a solid reason to return the Ryzen 5 3600 and go back to Intel.
